Date is the date the item posted in your account.

Check Number will be the number of the check if the item was a paper check you wrote.  If the item was paper check which cleared back to the bank you can click on the check number to see or print a full size image of the front and back of the check.

Description will explain the type of activity.  DDA means Demand Deposit Account and is how the bank refers to your checking account.  DDA PURCHASE and DDA POS TRAN are debit card purchases.  DDA WITHDRAWAL is a withdrawal from an ATM.  Items which are listed as BillPay are payments made through the Bill Pay option for online banking.

Debit and Credit columns list items which have come out of your account (Debit) or been deposited into your account (Credit).

Balance will be the balance after the items were debited or credited.
